Exoscopic Technology for surgical training.

Recently I trained a future neurosurgeon, Miss Lauren Harris to carry out an Anterior Cervical Discectomy and fusion in a patient who gradually lost the strength in his arms and legs due to spinal cord compression. Instead of a standard operating microscope the AEOS gives me the axact same magnified 3D view as the trainee allowing me to take her through the procedure safely. A thorough decompression was achieved with improvement in the patient's neurological function.
