Consultations during Covid-19. Telephone and Video consultations.
Since the outbreak of Covid-19, things in both the NHS and private sector have escalated very rapidly. In my NHS practice we have suspended all face to face consultations and will be carrying these out by telephone in order to maintain social distancing to reduce the spread of Covid-19. Only patients whose condition is deemed clinically urgent may be seen face to face at the discretion of the clinician.
In my private practice I have taken the same measures but I am offering video consultations via StarLeaf, a free video consultation app that can be downloaded. Please enquire about this with my PA [enquiries] who will take your details to arrange the appointment. If you are ensured please speak to your insurer to ensure they will cover this. Otherwise book appointments as normal at Chelsfield park, or Spire heartwood and they will arrange a telephone consultation with me that most insurers have agreed to authorise.
To use StarLeaf first download it here and register your details. Then fill in the enquiry form on my site or contact my secretary directly to confirm payment or authorisation by your insurer. You will be sent an email with a StarLeaf reference for the consultation. At The time of the consultation click "Join" on your StarLeaf window and enter the reference number to initiate the consultation.
